Eighteen Craft is a China-based OEM and ODM manufacturer of women's handbags for brand owners, e-commerce sellers, wholesalers and retailers. We develop handbags from a finished tech pack, a physical reference sample or a product concept, and we handle every stage in house: pattern making, material sourcing, sampling, bulk production, quality control and export packing.
Handbags are the most construction-sensitive category we produce. Panel alignment, edge finishing, lining fit and hardware placement are what separate a bag that photographs well from a bag that sells through without returns, so our handbag lines carry tighter in-process inspection than our fabric-bag lines. Buyers typically come to us with a target retail price and a market position; we work backwards from there to a material plan and a construction spec that lands inside it.

What we inspect on women's handbags
Every order passes incoming material inspection, written pre-production sample sign-off, in-line checks during sewing, an end-of-line functional check and a final random inspection on an AQL 2.5 style sampling plan.

How long does sampling and bulk production take?
Sampling typically runs 7–12 days from approved artwork or tech pack, and bulk production is normally 25–40 days depending on quantity, material availability and construction complexity. Production time starts after the pre-production sample is approved, not at the inquiry.
How much does it cost to manufacture a handbag?
There is no single figure — materials typically account for 35–55% of unit cost, labor 20–35% and hardware 10–20%, with the balance in development, packaging and quality control. Do you offer private label and custom branding?
