It covers every part of the site: the inquiry and quotation forms, the bag cost calculator, and general browsing. Our visitors are overseas business buyers — brand owners, e-commerce sellers, wholesalers, retailers and trading companies — submitting sourcing and quotation requests, so the data we handle is business contact information rather than consumer profiles.

Eighteen Craft collects only the information you voluntarily submit, plus standard technical data generated by visiting a website.
Information you provide
- Business contact details: name, company name, work email address and phone number
- Sourcing details: country, bag category of interest, estimated order quantity, target unit price and customisation type
- The free-text message you write, including any product descriptions or specifications you choose to include
- Any selections you carry over from the bag cost calculator into an inquiry

When you submit an inquiry from Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia or the Middle East, your data is transmitted to and processed in China, where Eighteen Craft operates.
We handle that transfer on the basis that it is necessary to perform the contract or to take pre-contractual steps you have requested — you are asking a Chinese factory to quote your product, which cannot happen without the data reaching us. Where appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are required for a particular arrangement, we will put them in place.
We limit transferred data to what is needed to respond to you and run your order. If you would prefer not to transmit certain details, you can omit them from the form and provide them later through a channel you are comfortable with.
7. Data retention and security
We keep inquiry and quotation data only as long as it serves the business relationship or a legal obligation.
In practice, that means active inquiries and order records are retained while the relationship is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for warranty, accounting and legal purposes. Inquiries that never progress are deleted once they are clearly no longer relevant.
We protect data with access controls limited to staff who need it, secure hosting infrastructure and encrypted transmission. We make no claim to hold any security certification or third-party audit — we hold none, and we will not imply otherwise. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
